Service tractors by actual use
Tractors may work intensively during planting or harvesting and remain idle between seasons. Tracking operating hours gives a clearer basis for engine oil, filter, lubrication, belt, cooling-system, and inspection planning than calendar time alone.
A visible hour record also helps compare utilization across multiple tractors and identify machines approaching their next service interval.

Mounting on agricultural machines
Choose a rigid structure that receives stable engine or chassis vibration during normal work. Keep the meter away from exhaust heat, moving linkages, heavy mud impact, and panels that rattle independently of machine operation.
Test the selected location at idle and at normal working speed. A location that only transfers vibration at high engine speed may not represent the full operating period.
Suitable agricultural applications
Beyond tractors, the same approach may suit harvesters, sprayers, threshers, engine-driven pumps, and other equipment that produces repeatable vibration while operating. Each mounting location should be validated on the actual machine.
